Investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy
Green Energy One AS is a Norwegian company that participates in the production of renewable energy and in energy efficiency projects. Production of renewable energy and energy efficiency is today among the fastest growing sectors on a global basis.
Development of the sector is directly linked to the key global policy objectives of reducing emissions and greenhouse gases and to a obtain a more efficient and environmentally friendly use of resources. A number of projects also reduces other harmful emissions into lakes and rivers. Most countries have therefore introduced significant support, including funding, to develop such projects. Projects within this sector often have a very high return on equity.
Green Energy One is participant in several projects based on Energy Service Contracts and developed in collaboration with the project developer Nordic Commodities AS. Nordic Commodities AS enters Management Agreement with Green Energy One AS on developing energy projects and investments into Energy Service Contracts and renewable energy.
ACTIVITIES AND PARTICIPATION IN OTHER COMPANIES
In 2014 Green Energy One founded and acquired 50% stake in FIRST St Petersburg Energy Service Company and with Homeowner Association in St Petersburg as a partner.
The company has also established similar projects in the EU countries, as well as in other Eastern Europe countries.
Green Energy One relies on participation in investment projects through an established network of contacts and through agreements with project developers, which develops projects to the operational phase. Green Energy One through this contact network will be offered participation in a substantial portfolio of projects, mainly solar energy, bioenergy, hydropower, wind power and energy efficiency in the building sector and the industrial sector.
Energy Service Contracts – ESCO means that Green Energy One enters into agreements with energy users or energy producers to implement measures on energy efficiency, both investment and optimization of existing operations and installations. The company takes charge by getting as remuneration a portion of the documented savings and through interest payments on loans. In the long term, the company will participate in a large number of individual investments, with typical single size of 0.2 to 0.5 million NOK and up to 10 million NOK.

18-19 June 2015 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum took place the signing of a package of treaties and agreements in the field of energy efficiency and resource conservation in the territory of St. Petersburg, which included a memorandum of cooperation in the field of comprehensive modernization of housing and communal services of St. Petersburg between the Federal Cluster comprehensive modernization housing and communal services of the municipality and «St. Petersburg clean technology cluster for the urban environment.»
